Daniel started his real estate career as a real estate lawyer at Tenzer Greenblatt LLP in 1994 and became a partner in 2000 at which time Tenzer Greenblatt merged with Blank Rome LLP and became one of the 100 largest law firms in the US. In 2008, he left the practice of law to start a real estate investment business. The business has developed over the years and is now JM Capital LLC.

Gershi is an active member of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and has achieved the organization’s CPM certification for property and asset management.   Prior to joining JM Capital, Gershi managed a portfolio of 1500 residential units in New York and New Jersey at Dixon Advisory USA.
